“I am the vine, you are the branches. If you abide in me I will abide in you
and you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
(John 15:5)

OUR VISION

“I am the vine…”

Worship is the single most important thing we do, because it is through worship that our bond to Christ is nourished and we are nurtured in faith.

We shall be known as a people of praise and prayer, guided by Scripture and the Spirit, who live as a giving and forgiving people. We will make everything we do an act of worship - every gathering and every activity shall be an opportunity to glorify God, recognize our Savior’s presence and to allow the Spirit to lead us.

“…you are the branches”

Through our union with Christ we are united to one another, as a family
of faith.

We shall be a welcoming congregation where all are warmly accepted, encouraged, and loved in the name of Christ. Together we shall be a community of hope and joy - a people that know one another’s stories, and a place where no one is forgotten. Because of our shared life in Christ, we commit ourselves to living together with openness, honesty, forgiveness and mutual forbearance.

“Abide in me and I will abide in you, and you will bear much fruit.”

We will focus our attention on the Church as the Body of Christ, where each person is an essential part of the body as a whole, and without each part the Body cannot function effectively.

With our eyes we will see the needs; with our ears we will hear the cries of concern and joy; with our mouths we will speak the good news; with our hands we will serve; and with our legs we will go forth. Together we will continue the ministry of Christ’s forgiving, redeeming, transforming love and spread it throughout this world.
